The S/Y "Helvetia" ex Mariloù is a fascinating vintage sailing yacht of 32 m on deck, 34,50 over all , built in steel in 1910 in Holland. After a full restoration and inside reconstruction in 1964 the yacht was named MARILOU and was based in Greece. It was at that time that the gaff rig was transformed into a very tall Marconi rig designed by Camper&Nicholson. Since the end of the 1990 she was very seldom used and the maintenance was not perfect anymore. In 2006 she was sold to new owners who starts a total refitt in Malta. Until now the yacht was completly emptyed and the steelworks on hull are approximatively finished. The yacht needs a deep restoration and must be completely rebuilt.
