It is a spectacular vessel, that has supported documentary filming by Jean Michel Cousteau and ecological conservancy expeditions. Recent owners have upgraded Beauport with a luxurious, but comfortable and liveable interior. With over a 5000 mile range and a fleet of smaller boats, your destinations are unlimited. Beauport was built in 1960 for the Canadian Coast Guard in Lauzon Quebec as a sounding vessel and bouy tender. She was designed and constructed to withstand light ice-breaking duty. In 1993 the new US owner began the conversion to a luxury yacht. A number of cabins were removed to make way for a main salon, guest cabins and a large master suite. In 1998 Beauport underwent a 6 month mechanical refit of all engines and operating systems in Jacksonville, Florida. In 2000, 2 new John Deer 115KW generators, a 150 KW Isuzu generator and a massive 8 ton hydraulic deck crane were installed. The current owner has continued upgrading the vessel since he purchased it in 2004. ACCOMMODATIONS INCLUDE: Bridge deck: Salon, Pilothouse. Boat deck: Master suite, Captains quarters.
