She is a fine example of Carl Alberg's most successful sailer, the Alberg 30 enjoyed a production run of a quarter-century. She was made the entire time by the original builder, Whitby Boat Works. No other sailing vessel has a production record of that duration, Prospective buyers should feel a warm confidence in her stuctural soundness. Clearly the Alberg 30 is anachronistic, her low freeboard, long overhangs, narrow beam, low aspect rig with long boom and short foretrianble base, stepped cabin profile are clearly vintage,her accommodation layout is settee berths, ice box, chart table, head, and split gally.
